In knitted plush velour, an extra thread is incorporated into normal knitted material to form small loops on the surface of the product. When these loops are cut, the many small threads left on the fabric create a velvety surface. The additional thread can be knitted into the entire product or in specific patterns. Its soft texture makes velour a popular material.
