Whether it's the imposing Château Saint-Maire, the utterly transcendental Cathédrale de Lausanne, or the sparkling azure of Lake Geneva, the city comes with a built-in feeling of nobility. Who can blame the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland and the dozen-plus international sport associations – including the International Olympic Committee – that have established Lausanne as their headquarters?
