Knitted cotton, elastic and wrinkle-resistant, but not altogether easy to care for due to its loose stitching structure. Should be washed using the wool cycle and ironed only with great care – no pressing! Jersey is generally produced finely ribbed with 200g/m2, meaning with left and right stitches in series. Single jersey (145g/m2), meanwhile, has only right or left stitches on each side. It can be stretched slightly in every direction, and rolls up a bit on the edges and at the hem.
