| The shy little sister | | Serving as the inspiration for this series was not the holiday resort often flooded by tourists, but the small community to the right of the river Adige, surrounded by the lush fruit fields and meadows typical of South Tyrol. The ancient Romans already valued what Mother Nature has to offer in this secluded region, and still Kurtinig (as the locals call it) remains a hidden jewel – but one that is not for everyone.
